Results publishing:

A committee of professionals and teachers will select the best projects per course. From April 16th to 30th 2019, the applicants of the selected projects will be called to defend their project during a personal interview (or by Skype because of the geographical distance).

The final result will be announced on the website after the jury’s deliberation on May, 15th 2019. The winners will be contacted by e-mail / phone call as well.

The winners of the competition will receive a discount on their tuition fees provided that by the time the course begins (September or October) they have completed their upper secondary education or equivalent studies and have passed the entry test (for Undergraduate Courses) or have been granted admittance following submission of an essay or portfolio (for all other courses).  Contestants will also be required to sign an agreement undertaking to become delegates/representatives and take on certain responsibilities. Grants are awarded for the first year of study. Regarding subsequent years, contestants should note that the chance to be awarded another grant will be considered each year depending on the following criteria: having an average grade of at least 7.5 out of 10 and fulfilling the specific responsibilities expected of a class delegate (liaising with teachers and the IED Barcelona team on behalf of student groups, monitoring class absences and occasionally supporting the department their course belongs to). Enrolment fees must be paid for every year, regardless of any grants awarded.
IED Barcelona Direction reserves the right to cancel a course in case of not achieving enough students for the opening.

The scholarship is awarded to a candidate and only for a specific course. It can not be kept for another course without the express authorization of the school Direction (neither for the first year nor for successive years).
