Which nationalities are involved in the contest?

The contest is open to candidates from all nationalities.

What language should the project be submitted in?

The projects and all the texts are to be written in the language in which your chosen course is imparted.

Can I submit a project that was already done before?

Yes, as long as the project is the outcome of your own personal, intellectual and original work and that no forgery or plagiarism is committed. You must ensure that your project does not breach the law or public order and morals, does not violate any third-party intellectual property rights, whether registered or not, such as copyright, trademarks and patents, and does not violate any third-party rights, contracts, customs or traditions.

The project has to be adapted to the topic of the contest and cannot be a work that has already been executed or completely developed.

Can I submit a project made with other people or in a team?

No, all the projects have to be personally made by the participant, without the collaboration of other parties.

I cannot upload the file on the contest website, what should I do?

If the system does not allow you to upload the project, this is because you are not meeting the requirements. In this case, you should check:

  • File size (cannot exceed the size indicated on the website)

  • File extensión (the format has to be as indicated on the website)

  • File name (cannot contain spaces, non-recognizable characters such as accents, or particular letters from certain languages such as ‘ñ’)

Can I upload a video?

You cannot upload a video on the platform, but you can upload it on a different platform and then copy and paste the link to it in your project.

Can I send the project in a different way other than uploading it to the website?

No, all the projects have to be submitted through the website. Check the size and format of the file before sending it.

How do I know if my project has been successfully submitted?

Once you have submitted your project, you will receive a confirmation email.

When will the results be published?

A committee of professionals and teachers will select the best projects per course. From April the 16th to the 30th 2019, the applicants of the selected projects will be called to defend their project during a personal interview (or by Skype because of the geographical distance).

The final result will be announced on the website after the jury’s deliberation on May, 06th 2019. The winners will be contacted by e-mail / phone call as well.

If I win a scholarship, what is the next step?

Winners will be required to send a formal letter of acceptance of the grant by email no later than three days after the result of the Contest is disclosed. If the winner should fail to do so, the grant will automatically be considered “rejected” and the jury may unobjectionably decide to award the grant to another candidate. Once the winner has accepted the grant, a term of 10 days will begin in which to enrol in the course for which the grant has been awarded.

The enrolment involves, in any case, the payment of the enrolment fee.

We advise you to check the content, dates and fees of the course you are applying for, before participating in the contest.

What is the criteria of the Selection Committee to evaluate the projects?

The Selection Committee will value the projects taking into account:

  • Innovation: The Project has to be an innovative idea, that matches the topic and instructions given for the particular course you have chosen.

  • Development: Exhaustively developed and structured projects will be more valued.

  • Presentation: A clear, concise and ordered presentation will be more valued.
